This is the new concept art for the 1950s German pub for my game what do you think? By Aidan Codd.

The German pub has a mash up of different objects that weren’t destroyed after the war. The pub has been lucky to have a pool table and dart board, the pub is not a posh pub it is just an average pub that anyone can go. This make it the perfect place for the spy to start looking for his messages for his mission.

  1. Aidan - just curious - but where's your reference coming from? I don't know, but I'm wondering how many dart boards are in Berlin pubs - loads, none, some?

  2. From my experience of German pubs, dart boards are still a rarity these days! :)

  3. ...I have heard tales of my mum and dad visiting pubs in germany in the 50s, and the barman or lady used to grab big handfuls of sauerkraut out of a barrel with their bare hands and plonk it on the plate!
