  1. Hi dude as promised had a read through your script and I have to be honest I not sure how each act connects to the story as u have one matchbox that is trying to sleep and the other disturbing him with loud music this is fine but I dont understand why the characters get angry then fall in a deep sleep ????

Also you have repeated certain sentences is this in the point of view of the character or is it a mistake ?

Im not sure on Act three as both characters are killed and there doesn't seem to be a resolution in the story.

I am struggling to understand the story as this stage but you may have reason for all this and if so needs to be explained further. Hope this helps :)

  2. Hi Aidan - I've got to say that I agree with Adam. Your story doesn't seem to have a context or a logic or truly deal with the idea of a matchbox that can't help falling asleep. I don't think this story is going to communicate - it's not often that I throw a grenade in a student's general direction, but this is one of those times. I apologise for not popping by sooner, but I recommend that you make things more simple - and try to connect the story to the logical consequence of your matchbox's behaviour:

Okay - imagine this as a scenario; in the 'real world' lots of house fires are caused by people smoking in bed - and then falling asleep and setting themselves on fire - fact! If you were a matchbox suffering from narcolepsy, what's the 'logical' outcome of that situation? A match ignites and then.... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz - FIRE!!!!
